Casa Tranquila is a three bedroom/bath home with separate one bedroom guest house located just a short private walk to the beach of Playa Flamingo. Casa Tranquila was completed in August 2001 and offers teak ceilings, almond ceilings, imported Italian tiles, stone countertops and commercial cook top. The main house has 3 bedrooms, 2 have breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the Catalina Islands, Flamingo Point, Flamingo Beach, as well as views of the mountains and the nature reserve where the local Howler monkeys hang out in the morning. Each bedroom has a king size bed, telephone, and is richly decorated in furniture that was custom built for the home. All bedrooms have private baths. The master bedrooms fabulous shower and field built oversize tub have windows looking out over the ocean The guest house is totally private from the main residence. "A perfect honeymoon cottage". The bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, telephone and beautiful furniture. It is built to the same standards as the large home and comparably equipped. Views abound from Casa Tranquila II. As in the large house, glass is used everywhere, beckoning the outdoors to come inside. Casa Tranquila II does NOT have a swimming pool but it does have a very large outdoor jacuzzi (8 person) perched on the cliff overlooking the ocean, beach, point and islands. A private walk leads you down to the beach just a few steps away. The views are stunning! Mountains and ocean wherever you look.
