Talari Mountain Lodge offers 14 rooms, all newly refurbished with private bathrooms and solar heated water. Furthermore, you will find a fridge and a small terrace, from which you can take in the stunning views. They also have a fully furnished apartment to rent per week or month. Besides that, you are able to eat delicious meals in Talari’s restaurant. They also offer 3-course dinners – of course, freshly prepared. Imagine yourself sitting on a rustic deck or by the pool while enjoying the beautiful mountainside.
Trails and Activities in Talari Mountain Lodge
Find 2 kilometers of trails on Talari’s property. These are very inviting for birds and make a nice walk from the river up through the forest. You are able to spot many rare plant and tree species, as well as intriguing birds such as the Red-legged Honeycreeper or the Slaty Spinetail. But not only the property itself offers overwhelming bird views, the entire area in and around San Isidro provides nature and bird lovers with excellent birding opportunities. Los Cusingos & Quebradas Biological Reserve are probably the most popular ones!

El General river is flowing along the bottom of Talari’s grounds. Especially in the dry season, this is a lovely spot to observe birds bathing and to view the Talamanca mountain range.
