Osa Peninsula contains 2.5% of the entire world’s biodiversity. National Geographic perceived that as well and named Osa Peninsula “the most biologically intense place on earth”. Close by you find the remarkable Corcovado National Park, the Piedras Blancas National Park, the Terraba Sierpe wetland area and Puerto Jiménez. Furthermore you are able to observe marine wildlife in Golfo Dulce with its deep and calm waters. Especially noteworthy is the abundance of species. It hosts over 400 species of birds, 140 different mammals and 323 endemic species of plants and vertebrates. To see a part of it, you just need to visit Osa Verde’s botanical gardens.
