A Unique Location for the Adventurous
The 30 to 40-minute boat ride from either Golfito or Puerto Jimenez can be exciting when encountering a pod of the resident dolphins (spotted pan-tropical or bottlenose), humpback whales, whale sharks or ridley turtles on the way to Saladero Eco Lodge.
Pristine
Saladero Eco lodge is located in the most undeveloped area of Costa Rica. Animals and birds are still wild at this convergence of 5 differing ecosystems. For example, primary rainforest, secondary rainforest, marine, mangrove and river. For nature enthusiasts, this is the opportunity to view and study some of the most beautiful and sometimes endangered bird species, watch the dolphins directly in front of the Beach House while having breakfast or explore the rainforest for new species of orchids or insects.
