Golf in Paradise – Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1:
You will arrive at the Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, the International Airport in Costa Rica’s northern province of Guanacaste. You will pick up your 4×4 rental car and head on over to the Westin Resort at Playa Conchal. Your Costa Rica Golf Vacation begins at this all-inclusive beach resort close to the nearby town of Tamarindo – which offers a wide variety of restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Guests can enjoy great daily selections from the buffet restaurant, dance in the evening with the nightly entertainment, the luxurious rooms, enjoy any of the daily activities set up, visit the spa, or just relax by the swimming pool or on the stunning beach.
Day 2:
Enjoy world-class golf in a pristine setting at Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course, your first golf destination. Mike Young has designed some of the finest courses in the southern United States and has truly outdone himself with the creation of this 7,500-yard, par 72 masterpieces. An amazing variety of exotic trees is spread throughout the course, luring tropical birds and some other wildlife to the courses. Spotting exotic wildlife while golfing! Welcome to Costa Rica!
Days 3-4:
Relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Tamarindo and Playa Conchal – some of Costa Rica’s best! Tamarindo is also known as TamaGringo for the locals, referring to its bustling nightlife as well as many shops, bars and restaurants. Playa Conchal is one of the most beautiful beaches in Guanacaste Costa Rica because of its beach made of crushed, white shells. Relax underneath the palm trees or have a swim in the sparkling blue water! This stunning beach also offers amazing ocean views.
Day 5:
Here comes the real fun for the avid golfer: Reserva Conchal Golf Club offers 18 holes of golf – a magnificent 7,030-yard coastal golf course. This property, designed by the famous golf architect, Robert Trent Jones ll, is located in a beautiful secluded valley filled by the sound of the ocean as it beats steadily onto the nearby shore. It’s not called Golf in Paradise for nothing!
Day 6:
Spend some time away front he hotel and go shopping in Tamarindo, take your very first surfing lesson, set up an adventure tour or just relax in the pool or on the beach. The Westin Resort Playa Conchal has plenty for everyone! Go horseback riding by the stunning beach, take scuba diving day trip, hike in the nearby national parks and forest. When you return, you can just bask in the luxury of the resort and enjoy some stunning views while having a coffee or a cocktail.
Day 7:
Enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Pacific on a Sunset Sailing Cruise. Silently glide along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast in a 66 foot sailing Catamaran that will take you past secluded bays and pristine beaches. Have a refreshing, tropical drink while you scan the seas ocean wildlife such as dolphins, sea turtles, and even whales. The tour includes an open bar, snacks, and snorkeling equipment – the perfect way to end your trip!
Day 8:
