Day to Day Itinerary
This is the perfect vacation package for those who want to combine the best of Costa Rica with a romantic touch. Visit the iconic locations of La Paz Waterfalls, Arenal and Manuel Antonio, each time in the most romantic 4-star hotel the destinations have to offer.
Day 1
Welcome to Costa Rica! We will be waiting for you at San Jose airport with your custom vacation package in hand. Your first transfer will be to the region of the Poas Volcano to the stunning and romantic Peace Lodge. Each room comes with a sizable balcony, Jacuzzi hot tub, waterfall shower and stone fireplace. Enjoy!
Day 2
Are you ready for your jungle adventure? Imagine lush tropical rainforest, spectacular waterfalls, white rivers, butterflies, birds, snakes, sloths, monkeys and jaguars. You will see all of this at La Paz Waterfall Gardens! Take a self-guided tour down 2.1 miles (3.5 kilometers) of trails while visiting the 10 animal exhibits. Visit the Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Frog Exhibit, Tica House, Trout Lake and different bird watching areas. At the end of the day, your second transfer will be waiting for you to Arenal Volcano and the Tabacon Resort & Spa.
Day 3
Today, your introduction to Arenal will be both thrilling and inspiring. The 6 Sky Tram gondolas offer endless views on the lush Costa Rican rainforest. Your guide will point out a variety of wildlife and flora to you. The Sky Trams go up to the highest point of the reserve where you will enjoy an astonishing view from the observation platform! The Sky Trek, on the other hand, is a thrilling tour including 7 zip lines which stretch across canyons and in between treetops on over 4100 ft (1250 meter) of lines.
Day 4
Arenal may be known for its adrenaline filled activities, but is also an ideal destination for those looking to unwind. Visit the natural hot springs, take a refreshing plunge into the Fortuna Waterfall of explore the mystical Hanging Bridges. Enjoy your free day!
Day 5
From the dense, Arenal rainforest to the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica! Today you catch your transfer to Manuel Antonio and stay at the highly rated Si, Como No. This 10 acre property offers a perfect balance between luxury and tropical jungle.
Day 6
No visit to Manuel Antonio is complete without a hike through the national park. This park may the smallest one in Costa Rica, but it more than make sup for that in biodiversity! Spot birds, sloths, monkeys and more!
Day 7
The perfect ending to a perfect vacation! Take the Catamaran Adventure Tour and bring romance and adventure together beautifully. After sailing along the golden shores and islands, the Catamaran will anchor in a protected cove where you can indulge in a little snorkeling adventure. Afterwards you can enjoy a splendid lunch onboard and just relax.
Day 8
