There are three room designs, each built to bring the garden inside, and every room has a private balcony looking out over the greenery and the wildlife. The rooms are spacious, and some come with a full kitchen and everything you need to use it, which works well for families or for a longer stay on the coast. The rooms have a TV.

On the property

Mornings start with a tropical breakfast, heavy on fresh fruit, and a look at the garden. The pool is the place for the hot part of the afternoon. There is a lounge with large tables, books and games for a rainy evening, and the restaurant is on site. The team is small, and its aim is warm, personal Costa Rican hospitality.

It is a good first night on the coast after the drive from San José, or a calm last night before you head back.

Location and getting there

Cahuita is a small beach town on the south Caribbean coast with friendly locals and a strong Afro-Caribbean culture. From the inn you can walk to the beach and into town, and we can arrange ATV tours, sailing and fishing trips and visits to Cahuita National Park, all with a private driver for the longer days.
