Los Delfines Golf Course and Country Club is a beautiful little course nestled on the southern seaboard of the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica and features a panoramic view of Bahia Ballena, (Whale Bay). Here you will not only find wonderful golf but the beauty of a coastline covered with white and pink coral sand beaches, and an unspoiled countryside featuring parrots, monkeys, rivers and breathtaking waterfalls.

Nestled along the coast the course will be a delight for golfers of all skill levels. The opening hole, a 337-yard par four, gives golfers ample room to bust an opening drive down the wide open fairway. A good tee shot will reward you a short iron approach into a green guarded by a large bunker in front.

Amazing Views at Los Delfines Golf Course

As you play the course it will be hard not to have your mind wander. As you take in the sights and sounds of the countryside and the beautiful ocean views. So keep focus as wayward shots will cost you plenty.

My favorite hole is #8 a 472 a tree lined par five that features out-of-bounds left off the tee and water left and right guard the green. The large two level putting surface is surrounded by deep greenside bunkers. Play this hole well and you will be rewarded with a birdie, make a mistake and the sky’s the limit.

The course features a beautiful clubhouse and pro shop with one of the most friendly staffs you’ll find anywhere in the world. Golf lessons are available upon request.

The Area

Being located on the Nicoya Peninsula the Los Delfines Golf Course has many perks. The Main one being the famous beaches of the area. One of the most famous beaches is Ballena Bay This sheltered little bay offers stunning views and a great atmosphere to kick back and relax. Another beach that is equally famous is Tambor. Ther is nothing like golfing along side the Pacific coast and see wildlife pass you by. Also, check out some of the areas Hotels. One of these being the Hotel Tambor Tropical.
