Anamaya Resort Costa Rica is the perfect place for your personal yoga retreat. Connect with nature while healing your body from the inside out. The Anamaya yoga center is like a health resort better described as a home away from home, but this one is hill-top with ocean panoramas. Guests feel at ease the instant they arrive at Anamaya Resort and gaze at the natural and vast coastal setting all around them. Anamaya Resort has an ambiance that’s close to home; it’s a place where customers and staff share space, time and naturally get to know each other. The relaxing music of a hidden waterfall will put anyone to sleep at night; roosters and howler monkeys advertise the sunrise. This surely is one of the top destinations for a yoga vacation in Costa Rica.
People usually hang out in the main house, but each Anamaya cabin is private and individual with the lovely organic decor, ceiling fans, and views. Sunsets and sunrises are better enjoyed from their saltwater infinity pool; the ocean horizon backdrop off the yoga deck is superb. The Anamaya Costa Rica Restaurant is healthy with no sugar vegetarian dishes and organic raw foods; they also prepare chicken, fish and limited dairy. The Anamaya Costa Rica vegetarian and nonvegetarian wraps are delicious; fresh fruit, coffee, and tea are always available for clients all day long.
Anamaya Resort Costa Rica offers week-long packages for Yoga, Cleansing and Detox, Surfing, Yin Yoga, Raw Food, Meditation, Aerial Yoga and Creative Arts. Daily activities start with early morning yoga from a large deck lodged to a hillside with views of green mountains and blue ocean as far as the eye can see. Their spa services include Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Scalp Massage, Myofascial Release, Thai Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Acupuncture and other holistic sessions. A picture perfect waterfall is a short distance from Anamaya Yoga Retreat Hotel; the waterfall has stacked ponds used by edgy divers to fly into the water. Nearby, the beautiful little ocean town of Montezuma also offers zip line tours, snorkeling, surfing, nature hikes, kayaking, restaurants bars and much more.
The Paquera-Puntarenas ferry subtracts valuable hours for drivers coming to Montezuma from San Jose or Costa Rica’s Central and Southern Pacific areas. A few number of common travelers may find the communal atmosphere at Anamaya Resort Costa Rica a bit odd; expect to socialize with staff, other hotel patrons, and new friends. Montezuma beach town isn’t close or an easy walk from Anamaya’s health retreat; it’s a long dusty road from the hotel down to the coast. Anamaya Resort Costa Rica has wildlife like colorful birds and friendly monkeys, but also harmless bugs, lizards, and spiders that are part of Montezuma’s rich flora and fauna.
The tour starts by picking up customers at their hotels. Just 15 minutes from downtown Quepos, in our ATV base, we assign the ATVs to each person and start the journey to the canopy. We use a highly secure, internal and exclusive company route , so you don´t need to worry. After 40-45 minutes you reach the canopy, where you can eat a quick snack at the restaurant before the adventures begins. The canopy duration is about 1 or 2 and a half hours. It will depend of the group. Getting back from the waterfall to the restaurant you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. Then we continue our ATV tour and return to the ATV base. Finally at the end of the journey, we return the guest to their hotels.
