Surf Lesson with MASS (Manuel Antonio Surf School and Camp)

You will begin your lesson with a thorough stretch and warm up to not hurt yourself. Surfing is a very physical sport, be prepared for a little muscle ache the following day! Your instructor will give you a safety briefing, show you the main positions and will correct your posture. According to your level of experience you will be equipped with a board and enter the sea! Your instructor will always check back with you and guide you throughout your session.

Jungle Tubing Savegre River

Explore the landscapes the Savegre River in this tour that takes you through the palm oil plantations, and local reforestation projects. After a little introduction into safety, we will engage into class II rapids like the “Initiation” “Golden Seal” and “Otter trail”. The Jungle tubing adventure is fit for kids of 10 and older. The ride on the gentle waters are led by an expert kayaker and you will take a break by the river banks to enjoy a delicious lunch. 

What’s Included: Transfers from Manuel Antonio/Quepos to and from Savegre River; snack, all the specialized gear; professional & bilingual white water rafting expert.

What to Bring: Long sleeve shirt or rash guard, swimsuit and/or shorts of a quick drying material; towel; sunscreen (spf-15 or higher); bug repellent, complete change of clothes. Rubber soled shoes that stay on and can get wet (Strap on sandals, tennis shoes or similar). Flip flops are not recommended.

Manuel Antonio National Park tour with Tucanes Tours

Manuel Antonio National Park, located on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast stretches out on 680 hectares with a vast variety of wildlife. Observe all kinds of species such as sloths, birds and reptiles as well as orchids, butterflies and tropical trees on 3 different trails that go from flat to steep. Half way through the 2 miles (3.3km) long hike, you are going to take a 20-minute break at the picturesque Manuel Antonio Beach. Savegre River White Water Rafting with Tucanes Tours

The Savegre River in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica is about an hour away from the main Manuel Antonio hotel’s area. Along the way, you’ll see part of Quepos´ history such as the little towns called “Cuadrantes”, cultural and architectural inheritance of the United Fruit Company presence in this area. Once at the river, you’ll start the tour, but not without a safety briefing and some practice. Besides your expert river guide, a safety kayaker will join the trip. This Tour is a combination of calm paddling and white-water thrills! After little more than 2 hours enjoying the riverside with occasional stops and the stunning views, your journey will end in the best way possible: a change of clothes and an exquisite typical Costa Rican homemade meal. Kids Saving the Rainforest Wildlife Sanctuary Tour

KIDS SAVING THE RAINFOREST (KSTR) is a non-profit organization, that focuses on the rescue and release of rainforest animals. They are able to help over 130 abandoned and injured animals every year! Listen to unique and amazing success stories firsthand from the caretaker. After an animal regained their health they are released back into the wild, however some animals are not able to be released. These are looked after in a safe sanctuary by KSTR. Experience all the love and dedication yourself and meet the endangered Titi Squirrel, Whiteface Capuchin, Spider, Marmoset, and Tamarin Monkeys!

Horseback Riding in Mulguri with San Bada

Mulguri, a private property owned by San Bada is considered a natural paradise with its four waterfalls. You are able to take a dip in them, observe different wildlife and enjoy the rainforest from the back of your horse! You will drive approximately 1 ½ hours through small villages and remote landscapes until you reach Mulguri.  On your first stop change into swimsuits and enjoy fruits and drinks in their pavilion. Canopy Tour with Canopy Safari

Coast Jet Ski – Manuel Antonio Adventure

This Manuel Antonio tour is perfect if you just want to get out and have some fun. Round trip transportation is provided and you will be picked up at your hotel and go to the Quepos’s pier, where the jet skis’ platform is located. Safety lockers are provided, so you can put all of your belongings in them. Your guide will give you a safety talk and you will get a chance to try a few practice runs on Yamaha Wave runners. These Jet Skis have low emission engines, to preserve the environment and each one of them has a dry compartment where you can store small items such as your camera. This 2 hour excursion will take you where you can see three islands and spot birds flying overhead. During your Jet Ski tour you will make a 30 minute stop at Biesanz Bay where you can snorkel and try to find schools of parrotfish, angelfish and starfish. Water visibility depends of the season. This Manuel Antonio tour provides you with snacks and beverages, and does not require previous experience.

Canopy & ATV Tours at Safari Adventures

The tour starts by picking up customers at their hotels. Just 15 minutes from downtown Quepos, in our ATV base, we assign the ATVs to each person and start the journey to the canopy. We use a highly secure, internal and exclusive company route , so you don´t need to worry. After 40-45 minutes you reach the canopy, where you can eat a quick snack at the restaurant before the adventures begins. The canopy duration is about 1 or 2 and a half hours. It will depend of the group. Getting back from the waterfall to the restaurant you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. Then we continue our ATV tour and return to the ATV base. Finally at the end of the journey, we return the guest to their hotels.

Scuba Diving Tour Costa Rica Adventure

The Manuel Antonio coastline with its 12 islands gives you the pick of numerous dive sites. Most dives are between 35 and 60 feet, though there are deeper sites for more experienced divers. All dives are guided by a PADI professional who has extensive knowledge and experience at our dive sites so that you will see the most marine life and underwater formations. Dives typically last 45 minutes and you will see stunning rock formations, with various, colorful corals. Spot schools of Snapper and Jacks,Sharks, Angel Fish, Moorish Idols, Parrot Fish, Puffer Fish, Octopus, Eels, Crustaceans, Sea Turtles and in season (From December to May) even the giant Manta Ray. During your surface interval you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Manuel Antonio National Park Coastline.

General information: Must have dive certification to participate in this tour, if are not certified you can do a Discover Scuba Diving, and still dive with certified friends. Dive at 2 different sites. (2 tanks and equipment included in trip) Equipment provided mask, fins, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible pressure gauge and 3mm wetsuit. All boat trips leave from the Quepos marina.
