Caribbean Dream with Manuel Antonio Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Welcome!! As soon as you come out of the airport, we will be there waiting with your custom welcome package in hand to help you start your Costa Rica Adventure Trip. We will direct you to your transfer that will take you to your first destination in San Jose to stay at Hotel Aurola. 

Day 2:

Today you will take another shuttle that will take you to Puerto Viejo in the Province of Limon. Check into your room for the night at Villas del Caribe. Puerto Viejo is located on the Southern Caribbean Coast and is known for its hot and humid climate as well as its pristine beaches. Why not pay a visit to Playa Cocles and relax on the picture perfect beach while looking forward to the thrilling activities still to come.

Day 3:

On day 3, you will take a tour through the Jaguar Rescue Center where they have a vast variety of wildlife including crocodiles, snakes, sloths, different types of birds and monkeys. Keep an eye out for the white-faced capuchin! They are far more social than one of the other famous monkeys in Costa Rica, the Howler Monkeys, and far more naughty! This rescue center has dedicated its mission to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured, mistreated, confiscated or orphaned animals. Day 4:

Your next destination will be Tortuguero! Get ready for your day’s travels and one of the most secluded places in Costa Rica. When you arrive in Tortuguero, you will stay at Mawamba Lodge. Mawamba will cater to your every need and make you feel relaxed after a long morning of travel. Tortuguero will give you that raw, jungle feeling you probably imagined Costa Rica would be like. So, get ready to get back to nature and don’t take a walk on the wild side, but a boat ride!

Day 5:

You will now take a tour through the Tortuguero Canals – a river network that works its way through the park and is the essence of all life in Tortuguero. This tour is full of adventure and wildlife and the skilled guide will point out all the interesting plants, animals and tell you all there is to know about the national park itself. They will give you a first-hand experience of Tortuguero and you are bound to see many species of birds, crocodiles, caimans and sea turtles. Don’t be surprised if you see a little Jesus Crist Lizard running across the water!

Day 6 – 7:

Day Six is here, and it is time to go all the way over to Arenal National park. Once in Arenal, you will stay at Los Lagos where you will experience ultimate peace and relaxation. Very important when on an adventure vacation! Enjoy the world-class view of Arenal Volcano towering over the small town of La Fortuna and surrounded by the biggest hand-made lake in Costa Rica – Lake Arenal.

Day 8:

Today is a very exciting day! We will take a Sky Trek and Sky Tram tour. Each tour will give you a great view of the rainforest below. Check out the Ziplines as you fly through the forest and experience a great thrill. The sky tram is a little slower than a zipline, which makes it perfect for those who want to spot wildlife and take in the beauty of the forest. 

Day 9 -10:

On our way to Manuel Antonio, you will love the scenic drive almost as much as you will love your destination. The Manuel Antonio beach and National Park area is a perfect place to end your trip. Explore the Park and spend some quality time at the beach. You will stay at the stunning Hotel Karahe. You will be taking a luxury Catamaran cruise where you will be treated to the best of foods and drinks! Manuel Antonio may be one of the smaller parks in Costa Rica and even Central America, but you would not say so when your walk through it will help you to scratch many exotic animals off your must-see list!

Day 11:

Spend some relaxing time at your hotel and sit back enjoy the warm weather with your family, friends, partner or perhaps just on your own. This is a great place to let all the stress roll away and allow yourself to be surrounded by the sounds of nature, the very heartbeat of Costa Rica!

Day 12:

This is your last full day in Costa Rica, and we will now transfer you to back to San Jose to stay in Hampton Inn Hotel. Why not explore Costa Rica’s famous capital? You can visit the National Theater, the museums, or even stroll through the city and get a feel for Costa Rica’s version of a metropolitan city!

Day 13:
