Caribbean Dream Day to Day Itinerary 

The Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica is indeed just like a dream! For the adventure loving families to those wanting to stay at glorious all-inclusive resorts, the options are boundless. Costa Rica tours will include many different activities such as horseback riding, spotting sea turtles in Tortuguero, snorkeling or scuba diving in Cahuita, hiking through the tropical rainforest, whatever your family wants! This is Costa Rica travel at its best!

Day 1:

Today day is the start of a very fun trip to the Caribbean Coast. We meet you directly at the international airport for our dream excursion. We will have a welcome package waiting for you and will guide you to the shuttle to start your family trip. Then you will be off to your first hotel in San Jose. Relax and enjoy!

Day 2:

Let the adventure begin! We will take the shuttle to your first location in Puerto Viejo. This location of Costa Rica is stunning, beautiful and very laid back. Puerto Viejo is full of beach rainforest and also has many beachfront restaurants. Pay a visit to the beautiful Playa Cocles and unwind!

Day 3: 

While in Puerto Viejo you will enjoy the Jaguar Rescue Center tour. Walk through the small enclosure with a wide variety of different species and rescued animals including howler monkeys, sloths, and Toucans and more. You are sure to love every minute of it!

Day 4:

Day 4 will take you under water! We will take your family snorkeling in Cahuita. During your tour you will see all kinds of fish, dolphins, manta rays. Also look at the array of colors on the reef.

Day 5 – 6: 

Time to head north to Tortuguero! Once there, you will check into your hotel. Tortuguero offers you a peaceful escape even by Costa Rica standards it is one of the most remote areas of Costa Rica. You will love the jungle atmosphere in whatever luxury retreat or resort you choose. Relax a bit in this peaceful region for the next day.

Day 7:

A guide will take you on a boat ride through the canals of Puerto Viejo. They will explain all the key points of the region and show you where to find some cool wildlife. Spot sea turtles, birds, lizards, sloths and monkeys.

Day 8: 

Day 8 has arrived and we leave the Caribbean Coast for a visit to Arenal. This area holds the most famous volcano is Costa Rica as well as some of the best adventure activities in the country. You will be taken by shuttle, and then dropped off at your hotel. Arenal is famous for its hanging bridges, La Fortuna Waterfalls, volcanic hot springs, rafting trip, the trails in the rainforest hike, canopy tour and of course its natural wonders! Fun for all ages!

Day 9:

This is one of the most exciting days! On today’s tour, you will have fun zip lining through the rainforest on the Arenal Sky Trek. You will have loads of excitement and thrilling adventure as well as stunning views.

Day 10:

Today you will head back to San Jose and catch your flight home. how was your Costa Rica vacation? Was it everything you hoped it would be?
