Best of Guanacaste Day by day Itinerary

The Best of Guanacaste takes you on a journey to a volcano as well as the Pacific Ocean. Get ready to find adventures in both tropical rainforests and on pristine beaches. During your trip your whole family will find activities they love. The province of Guanacaste is known for stunning beaches, all-inclusive resorts, active volcanoes, and a lot of sun during dry season as well as rainy season! Explore two of Costa Rica’s most beautiful destinations – the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano and the beaches of Tamarindo on this amazing adventure!

Day 1:

Fly into Liberia and get ready to begin your vacations! We will pick you up with welcome package in hand and take you to your Hotel at the base of active volcano Rincon de la Vieja. Here you can relax in the volcanic hot springs of your hotel after such a long trip.

Day 2:

Experience one full day filled with fun and adventure! In this tour, you can do a Canyon Canopy Tour in the majestic canyon made by the erosion of the Blanco River during millions of years. Additionally, you can take horseback riding tours to waterfalls, go tubing on the Negro River and enjoy the Volcanic Mud Baths as well as the thermal hot springs. Costa Rica tours at their best!

Day 3:

You will leave the hotel in the morning to travel further within the Guanacaste region. Enjoy the landscape while on the road to go to your beautiful hotel on the most famous beach in Costa Rica. Tamarindo is affectionately called TamaGringo by locals because so many tourists find their way this part of the coast every year. Tamarindo is most famous for being the best beach for the beginner surfer and having loads of bars and restaurants available all throughout town. What will your Costa Rica Adventure consist of here? Surfing? ATV tours? Hiking through tropical rainforests and spot howler monkeys? Scuba Diving? How about you start with relaxing?

Day 4 & 5:

You are on holiday so we thought you might enjoy a few days of relaxation. Enjoy the sunshine and go to the beach. You can also stay at your resort that has a lot of facilities to offer its guests. Another possibility is to have a short walk just outside, to explore the little beach town and go souvenir shopping!

Day 6:

It is time to get active again, a sunset cruise awaits you. At the beach, right outside your hotel, you will first go on a small boat and then hop on the catamaran for a beautiful afternoon on the ocean. Drinks and snacks are included but the best part has to be the snorkeling!

Day 7:
