Romantic Adventure Experience Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Fly into San José, the capital of Costa Rica. There you will be picked up from the airport and brought to the Aurola Holiday Inn, a stylish and contemporary city escape to start your honeymoon adventure.

Day 2:

Get ready for your transfer to Arenal and your stay at the famous Los Lagos. Arenal is the perfect destination for a thrill as well as a romantic getaway. Enjoy!

Day 3:

Visit the “Arenal Hanging Bridges” and walk through the forest along trails and bridges that allow you to see plants and animals from high above. The second part of your tour will be a visit at “La Fortuna Waterfall” where you can take a refreshing swim in the waterfall’s cool waters. Spot plants, trees, and wildlife like sloths, toucans, orioles, butterflies, and more.

Day 4:

It’s time for you transfer over to the Caribbean Coast to the small town of Puerto Viejo. Check into Villas de Caribe and take some time enjoying the town and its stunning beaches. How about a visit to Playa Cocles?

Day 5:

Today we have got a really exciting trip planned for you crossing the Panama border. You will head to Bocas del Toro and stay at Hotel Palma Royale for the next three nights.

Day 6:

Your Panama adventure will begin with spotting Dolphin families at Dolphin Bay, a beautiful serene bay with majestic mountain views. Head to Crawl Cay next, a great place to snorkel and enjoy a tasty Caribbean lunch. From there, weather permitting, we head to Zapatillas Islands, an incredibly beautiful National Park. These islands are pristine gems with white sand beaches, tropical forests, crystal clear water and coral reefs nearby. An experience you won’t soon forget!

Day 7:

Time for the Red Frog Jungle Zipline and a visit to Red Frog Beach! This tour is for both nature lovers and those looking for the thrill of soaring through the air at up 40 miles per hour. Red Frog Beach, some say, is the very best of the white sand beaches here in the Bocas Archipelago. This is an excellent swimming beach complete with beachfront restaurants and bars. Rent a lounge chair and let your the daily stresses of life melt away!

Day 8:

It is time to head back to Puerto Viejo and enjoy another two nights at Villas del Caribe. Why not try the typical food so famous in this area? The rice at Costa Rica’s Caribbean is flavored with coconut. Delicious!

Day 9:

Today you will pay a visit to the Jaguar Rescue Center, take a chocolate tour and end the day with a refreshing dip in a nearby waterfall. The rescue center will introduce you to the conservation efforts Costa Rica is so famous fr while the chocolate tour will focus on the traditional techniques in chocolate production still alive with the indigenous tribes of the Talamanca region!

Day 10:

Head back to San Jose and enjoy your final night in the Hampton Inn.
