Romantic Beach Getaway Day by Day Itinerary
Combine the beauty of Guanacaste’s coast with a sense of ultimate freedom. Upon your arrival you will receive your car and explore this beautiful part of the Pacific at leisure. But keep reading! We have a wonderful tour arranged for you at the end of your trip!
Day 1
Fly into Liberia Airport in Costa Rica where you can pick up your Toyota Rush from the car rental agency Thrifty. From here you can drive to the remote and stunning coast of Santa Teresa at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. You will be spending the next three nights at the Latitude 10 Resort. Enjoy comfort and elegance in your private oceanfront villa! Welcome to the stunning Costa Rica!
Day 2-3
The next two days will be spent however you like. You can lounge or surf at the Santa Teresa coast and explore the nearby beaches of Mal Pais, Montezuma and Tambor. If you want to explore the nearby jungles and wildlife centers, you can visit Curu Wildlife Refuge and Cabo Blanco Nature reserve.
Day 4
Time to head north to the beaches of Carrillo and Samara. You will be staying at your own beachfront bungalow at Nammbu. You will have your own private bungalow at the serene and still less developed Playa Carrillo.
Day 5-6
Day 5 and 6 are for you to enjoy and discover the beaches of Samara and Carrillo. Carrillo is Samara’s introverted neighbor and the perfect beach for a quiet picnic. Samara is a great place to explore a beach town with an interesting balance between and expat and local community. Here you can also discover why the Nicoya Peninsula has been named one of the world’s Blue Zones and experience the real Pura Vida!
Day 7
Time to head to the luxurious Tamarindo Diria! The bustling tourist town of Tamarindo will provide a great end to your trip with a large assortment of restaurants and plenty of opportunities for souvenir shopping!
Day 8
Enjoy a free day exploring the vibrant town and stunning shores! Tamarindo is also a great place for your first surf lesson!
Day 9
On your last day here in Tamarindo, we have arranged for a Sunset Sailing and Snorkeling tour for you two to enjoy. Make this the perfect, romantic end to your trip!
Day 10
Time to drive back to Liberia to catch your flight! Did you enjoy your Costa Rica vacation? Travel with us again soon!
