Caribbean Jungle Exploration Day to Day Itinerary 

The main draw of the beautiful Costa Rica, is of course the abundance of flora and fauna.  Day 1

After arriving at San Jose airport and coming outside, we will meet you with a custom welcome package specific to your needs on the trip. We will then guide you to your private shuttle and your off to your first hotel. The first night you will stay at Aurola Holiday Inn, a beautiful hotel offering you great comfort for a good night sleep. Welcome!

Day 2

Now it’s time to pack up and head off to Tortuguero. Hop on the shuttle and enjoy the ride as you go up the Caribbean coast. Once you are there, you will be checking into Mawamba Lodge a very peaceful place to stay the next little while.

Day 3

Day three is here and this is your chance to explore the charming and simple town of Tortuguero. Observe the quiet, Caribbean lifestyle and don’t forget your camera!

Day 4

Explore the canals of Tortuguero on your boat tour. Spot birds, turtles, monkeys, sloths and many more! Right after you tour we will be heading to Puerto Viejo on the southern Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Check into the stunning Villas del Caribe where you only need a few steps to get from your room right onto the beach.

Day 5

On day five get ready and set for the Jaguar Rescue Center. Let the knowledgeable staff guide you around to see some very rare and endangered animals. Also included in the tour is the chocolate lady where they show you how the excellent chocolate is made – have a taste! End your day with a swim in a pristine waterfall pool.

Day 6

On day six you can explore the stunning jungle that is Cahuita National Park! Spot sloths and walk on one fo the most charming beaches in Costa Rica.

Day 7

Back to San Jose, we go as we spend the last today reflecting over the great experiences had. Once you’re in San Jose, you will check into Hampton Inn. Spend your last night out in the town or relax a bit and get ready for your flight home.

Day 8

Our driver will pick you up at the hotel in time for you to get to your international flight home.
