Day 1:
Get away from the stress of everyday life as you jump aboard a plane and fly to beautiful Costa Rica! You’ll land in the nation’s capital city of San José (airport sjo) where you’ll be met by a My Costa Rica representative who will shuttle to your San Jose Hotel. Rest and relax on your first night so you’ll be ready to start your week of tropical excursions!
Day 2:
On day two, My Costa Rica will shuttle you the beautiful Tortuguero. Tortuguero is on the Caribbean side of the country and offers incredible hiking and wildlife trails in a huge National Park. You can also enjoy the Caribbean Sea, take a boat ride through the canals and go on one of the guided tours to see sea turtles hatching.
Day 3:
Day three is for a Tortuguero Tour. Learn about the country and spot wildlife with an expert guide.
Day 4:
After you’ve enjoyed the lush tropical forests of Tortuguero, My Costa Rica will transfer you to the Arenal Volcano for the next leg of your nature adventure. Arenal is one of the most popular places in Costa Rica for nature lovers. In addition to the volcano, you can also visit the famous Lake Arenal and the small town of La Fortuna. Check into your hotel and get ready for a day of adventure!
Day 5:
On day five it’s time to get your adrenaline pumping on the Arenal Sky Trek tour. You’ll fly through the forest canopy at high speeds on a zipline. Your expert tour operator will lead on a short hike and talk to you about the surrounding flora and fauna on the way! It is one of the best ways to see the Arenal area.
Day 6:
Your next Costa Rica destination is Monteverde. On day six My Costa Rica will transfer you to the gorgeous cloud forest where you’l check into your hotel or eco-lodge and relax in the middle of the some of the most incredible flora and fauna in Costa Rica.
Day 7-8:
Explore the cloud forest preserves of Monteverde or Santa Elena, zip through the rainforest canopy on a secure system of zip lines and hanging bridges, or set up any number of activities in this tropical village. Also, experience so the El Trapiche Coffee tour and taste the best coffee known to Costa Rica on a beautiful coffee plantation.
Day 9:
On day nine you’ll head home after your unforgettable trip. My Costa Rica will shuttle you back to the international airport in San Jose in time to catch your flight. We hope to see you again soon!
