Chachagua Rainforest Hotel proves to you that luxury and sustainability are not mutually exclusive. All the food served on the property’s grown organically by the staff. Too, creatively prepared by the chef. All waste from the kitchen is used to make and produce fertilizer and also used to fuel the “bio-digester”, producing gas used to power the kitchen. Using reclaimed wood from the forest, a local master craftsman built the furniture throughout the whole resort. Chachagua Rainforest also uses 100% chemical-free growing techniques and produces their own dairy. Each contribution to the environment brings them one step closer to an entirely sustainable rainforest.
